Welcome to this beautiful Rococco castle from the 2nd half of the 18th century which is to be found amidst the beautiful scenery of the Lower Rhine. It now belongs to a family who has put all efforts in restoring the building and refreshing the old noble charm. It was acknowledged as one of the jewels in the Rheinland and in 2004 it was awarded the “Rheinischen Denkmalpreis” for the rescue and outstanding restoration of a significant National Trust property.

The castle is surrounded by forests and its own grounds include a newly built, beautifully appointed guest house which stands beside a lake with parkland close by.

In this green and peaceful surrounding one does not  suspect to be close to airport and trade center of Düsseldorf and not far from the Ruhr with all its business.

Many greens are to be found around, 2 of these golf courts are each 10 km away.

The owners live in the castle which allows a personal and familiar atmosphere. Constant companions are the 2 Labradors who walk faithfully next to you with peace and quietness. They are already worth a visit!

The imposing entrance hall with its impressive stukkulustro columns offers a representative introduction and leads to the magnificent dining/reception area. The full length glass windows offer a wonderful view into the park. A french door opens to the terrace which lies 3 steps down and leads to the rose garden. Ideal for your summer event or for a gala dinner in an exclusive ambiance!

A free swinging spiral staircase leads from the rear of the entrance hall to the sumptous Belle Etage on the first floor. The magnificent central room, the so called hall of mirros is embellished with a  parquet floor, marble walls and a large oval painting on the centre of the ceiling that is surrounded by 18th century stucco work. To either side of this central room lies a withdrawing room: the 'bower' and the 'study' . Combined with the central room a wide variety of entertaining options are available.

In the guest house next to the castle guests can stay after a working day or after a splendid festivity. 4 elegant and cosy rooms combine historic charm and modern comfort. Excellent beds with finest tissues and blankets which are indeed comfortable and healthy and the ensuite airy and bright bathrooms invite you to kingly relax.

Full Breakfast is served  in the comfortable lounge with fireplace. 
The convenient position, close to the Ruhr and the easy access to the Autobahn (motorway) system, the closeness of the international airport and the trade show centers in Düsseldorf make the guest house the perfect location for business or for leisure.
