Tucked away in seclusion on the hillside of the Ambra Valley in Chianti, the rustic borgo was described as follows by the eighteenth century writer/traveller Giovanni Targioni Tozzetti: "It seemed as if nature itself had placed it there, such is the felicity of its setting, ideal for breathing the wholesome air and admiring the surrounding landscape...". Preserved in its natural setting over the centuries, the recently opened rural estate formed of rustic Tuscan farm houses is the luxury rental property in Chianti. The 15 farm houses and suites, a collection of restored typical Tuscan farm houses set within 4 acres of hillside olive grove, is the latest accomplishment of a Dutch entrepreneur and great admirer of the Tuscan heritage. After four years of restoration the borgo features today elegant accomodation, complete with well equipped gourmet kitchens, reflecting its Dutch owner's passion for Tuscan cooking, specially designed furnishings and a state of the art music and video system.
To help create the experience of Tuscan Luxury Living, the owner has included among the facilities a specially designed inhouse dining service with the help of seven local cooks (known as the Tuscan Mammas) each with her own style of cooking, assisted by a team of butlers to help with table setting and cleaning.
The estate, visible from the valley below, has preserved the atmosphere of an ancient 'borghetto', immersed in the deep green of an olive grove with over 300 olive trees, with the rustic stone buildings laid out on either side of an old stone path leading up to the next village.
The friendly, multi lingual and professional staff welcomes guests to the property and offers them the services traditionally found in prestigious Tuscan country homes where a high level of service and pampering are the keynotes to a guest's stay!

Cancellation policy for a 1 week stay:

• reservations cancelled 30 days prior to arrival: 40 % of the deposit will be refunded

• reservations cancelled less than 15 days prior to arrival: no refund will be made and the deposit will be used to offset the rental fee.
