Over 500 years the dukes of Geldern and Kleve as well as the Great Elector (Friedrich Wilhelm I, 1620-1688) and the Archdukes of Austria would be guest of this family which is now residing in the 16. generation on this castle.
Time passes by and changes - the castles remains in it's old elegance. Today guests come for rebouncing, for culture, for sports, out of interest or they take part in events and parties.
The „Boye“ which used to be the residential area of the domestics has been rearranged into 15 individual and comfortable apartments and suites. All rooms are very elegant and all of them refer to the family i.e. to certain ancestors which lent out their name to the rooms.
The historic mill and also the castle offer halls for festivities and events like weddings, gala dinners, conferences,....

Here, in the „Boye“ you find a quiet place for your vacation, for a leisure weekend or for your special event. The „Boye“ is the former residential area for the domestics of the castle. The center of this little hamlet is a historic water mill which today offers a room for parties, conferences and seminars and a big and beautiful breakfast room with view on the lush green surroundings.
The different old houses and the shed offer 14 classy double rooms, apartments and juniorsuites and the wedding suite in the little tower. All rooms are very quiet and comfortable.

In order to avoid stress while reaching the airport and then look for an expensive parking place far out why not book an overnight stay in the castle. After a good breakfast enjoy the transfer to the airport (only 9 minutes) while your car can stay in the parking place of the castle.
