A grand, ancient palace with the uniqueness of a private aristrocatic residence is offering hospitality in few, comfortable and beautifully decorated rooms. Palazzo Nicolini at the Dome is located in the heart of historical Florence, 30 mt away from the Cathedral, in the centre of the shopping area and at walking distance from the main monuments and museums. Its origins date back to the 14th century. The great sculptor Donatello (1386-1466) had his workshop here. Recently, the residence was completely renovated without altering its features and maintaining the fascination of its past history. Rooms are large, have high painted ceilings, frescoed walls and are elegantly decorated.

Guests may feel like at home. When coming home from shopping or sightseeing they will be offered a good tea in the atmosphere of a cozy bright room and listening to classic music.... And the various drinks on the shelf are  for the guests – of course all included in the price! The present owners, Filippo and Ginevra Nicolini di Camugliano, personally supervise the residence in all details, in order to ensure that guests be offered a top quality treatment.
